CDA Auto Styling
The shop that set the standard.
ShieldID began with the installation discipline, customer care, and protection-first process developed at CDA Auto Styling. CDA is represented here in its own role: the founding shop behind the network standard.
"I built ShieldID because drivers deserve a clearer way to know who they can trust. CDA Auto Styling set the standard through real installation work, and this network carries that expectation forward."

ShieldID Film Brand Directory

Film partners coming soon
ShieldID is in discussions with film brands. New names will be added to the directory only after independent evaluation and testing are complete and the brand meets separate directory standards.
Private Film Testing. No Paid Video Reviews.
Film companies can commission ShieldID for private automotive film testing under real shop conditions. Payment covers the test work, documentation, a full three-stage written findings report, and a private explanatory video—never favorable opinion, reviews, or network access.

Baseline & Installation Report
Film identity, custody, claims, conditions, preparation, and real-shop installation.

Immediate Findings Report
Handling, application behavior, measurements, deviations, and limitations.

Follow-Up Findings Report
Durability observations, remaining unknowns, and private video deliverable.

Separate Network Gate
Testing payment buys private testing deliverables only and never guarantees directory listing or network access.
Testing payment never guarantees network access or status.
Paying ShieldID to test or evaluate a film buys private testing work and report deliverables only. ShieldID does not offer or sell paid video reviews, endorsements, directory listings, partner status, or competitor exclusion.
Testing and directory participation are voluntary ShieldID standards processes, not certification, regulatory approval, a product guarantee, or a universal outcome.

Understand the ShieldID Status Path
Basic membership is a separate tier. A Basic Member is not automatically in vetting and may remain Basic. Vetted status is achieved through a rigorous process based on CDA Auto Styling standards. Vetted is not certified and is not a ShieldID guarantee or warranty.

Basic Member
Listed in the directory; not vetted by ShieldID; may remain Basic.

Vetting In Progress
Profile, agreements, and required evidence are assembled. No vetted badge or claim.

Standards & Evidence Review
Required records, authorizations, customer care, quality, privacy, conduct, and hard gates are reviewed.

Human Approval
A person records the decision. Approval is never automatic.

ShieldID Vetted Member
Only active approved vetted status supports the public designation.

Ongoing Standards Review
Required job records, five qualifying monthly cross-tags across Instagram and TikTok, and one ShieldID podcast appearance every six months, plus ongoing customer-care, quality, privacy, conduct requirements.

Understanding ShieldID
What is the ShieldID Network?
ShieldID Network is a curated directory of automotive protection installers. We connect vehicle owners with reputable shops for paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating, and window tint services based on established industry standards.
What is the difference between Basic and Vetted Members?
Basic Members are listed in the directory and are not represented by ShieldID as vetted; this does not mean vetting is underway. ShieldID Vetted Members have completed the approved vetting process, received human approval, and remain subject to ongoing standards and evidence requirements. Vetted is not certified and does not guarantee every job or warranty.
How do quote requests and leads work?
Each secure shop form will identify the selected member and route your request directly to them. If you use our Match Concierge, we will help connect you with the most appropriate local installer once the concierge system is fully connected.
What are CDA Auto Styling standards?
CDA Auto Styling standards are the originating benchmark for ShieldID's evaluation process. They define the high level of facility cleanliness, product knowledge, installation quality, and client care required to become a Vetted Member.
How does a film brand enter the ShieldID directory?
A private film testing engagement is separate from Film Brand Directory listing or partner status. Payment covers private testing work, a full written findings report, and a private explanatory video—never paid video reviews, favorable conclusions, or network access. New names are added to the directory only as separate evidence and standards criteria are met.
